Art Class Summer Series
This summer is your opportunity to finally create some of that art for your home or garden! This summer I am offering a series of classes where the supplies are dust free and ready to be assembled with your personal artistic touch!
***Every class/session in this series is technically a 2 hour class, however, I am adding a gratis 3rd hour for anyone who needs a little extra time to wrap up their art. In other words, don't stress about a 3 hour class time, every project can be accomplished in a 2 hour time frame, although some just work at a slower pace.***
Take some time this summer to give yourself the gift of art. Spending time in an artistic endeavor not only ends with a finished piece, but can have a positive 'ripple' effect on your mental health those around you!
Fiber Art - "ICMT" - Saturday - Adult Series
June 3rd
9 - 12pm
Using as many or as few of the huge array of yarn, leather, sticks, metal hoops, bells and beads - you get to create your very own fiber based wall hanging!
This is a class in the "I Could Make That" (ICMT) summer art series! Don't miss this opportunity to make your own popular art that you see in all the major stores and specialty shops today!
Instruction and supplies all provided.
This is a 3 hour class, with the 3rd hour for project completion as needed
Abstract-Impressionism Painting - "ICMT" - Adult Series
June 16th
9 - 12pm
Join me for a painting class where we will create an original colorful abstract impressionistic painting! You can choose your subject or follow along with me!
Materials and instruction provided!
This is an adult class, where you can relax, chat, create and have fun!
Choose either a 12"x12" or a 12"x14", panel or stretched canvas
This is a 3 hour class, leaving the 3rd hour for project completion as needed!

Mosaic - "ICMT" - Saturday - Adult Series
June 24th
9 - 12pm
Adults!! Join me for a well deserved break! This 3 hour mosaic class is set up for you to have time to choose your base, layout your design, prep and work on your project.
You can choose from a variety of base shapes and tesserae (tile or glass etc.)
Tools, thin-set, glue, grout & Instruction provided
Base and tile/tesserae are additional to class cost: Cost depends on your choices
*If additional time needed to complete project we can work that out!! Recurring classes on the calendar* (Independent Studio times will be posted as needed!)
No experience required, this is a great introductory to Mosaic and would be a great starting place before signing up for larger Mosaic project classes!! This class time is for those interested in flatwork, functional pieces - table tops etc. and 3-Diensional pieces! Sign up and see what all the choices are and tesserae available!
Sun Catchers & Windchimes - "ICMT" - Adult Series

9-12pm
Beads, bells, chain, fabric! All of these ingredients and more for you to choose from to create your own quiet or loud sun or wind catcher!
A fun addition to the "I Can Make That" summer series for adults to create something that we see in the stores, think we could make it and then never get around to it. Time to create, make some useful art and enjoy the process!
This is a 3 hour class, leaving the 3rd hour for project completion as needed!
Beach Art - "ICMT" - Adult Series
July 8th
9 - 12pm
Another lesson in the "I Can Make That" summer series! A perfect use of mixed media in the heat of July!! Time for some bleached shell windchimes or a sand and sea mix media canvas or sea-glass sculpture for your home or snowbird escape??
Time to learn a few ways to use all the shells we've collected over the years! Using driftwood, beads, shells, sand and whatever else lights you up, create your very own beach themed art!!

This is a 3 hour class, leaving the last hour for completion of project!

Garden Totems - "ICMT" - Adult Series
July 22nd
9 - 12pm
For those who love to express themselves inside their homes and out, this project in the "I Can Make That" series will be perfect!
Starting with a Pine 4'x4' post, you will design and paint your very own Garden Totem, to set among your hosta, daylily's, statice or phlox! Paint it brightly with bold design or patterns that accentuate the colors you love the most! Never have just a green garden again!
This class is 3 hours, the last hour for finishing up the project!!
Jewelry - Bracelet - "ICMT" - Adult Series
July 28th
9 - 12pm
Jewelry that we can all make, wear and love! Part of the ICMT Summer Series!
Join me and create a personalized beaded bracelet, complete with clasps, metal findings and self made charms! Choose your stones &/or gems or glass beads from Ripple's huge stock!

Water Color & Ink - "ICMT" - Adult Series

Adults! Watercolor is a very liberating medium when used alongside ink! Join this session to create a stained glass like painting using wet-edge techniques.
