Exploring Art - TEENS - Summer Series
This summer find your way to Ripple Art Studio, in Historic downtown Carver! Re-launching "Exploring Art", as a series of ongoing, aways new art lessons all summer!
Every Wednesday from 1 to 3pm from June through August there will be a new medium taught. Take a look below and see what lessons appeal to your Teen and sign up today! Space is limited to about 8 students per group.
"Exploring Art" series has two different groups:
KIDS - 7/8 up to 12 --- Wednesdays 9 - 11 am
TEENS - 13 & Up ---- Wednesdays 1 - 3 pm
Mosaic Mandala - "Exploring Art" Series
June 7th
1- 3pm
A favorite for the "Exploring Art" series ! Creating a mosaic in a circular pattern of tesserae & color is a Mandala. Every student will choose their tiles of choice, layout the design and complete with grout.
Abstract Painting - "Exploring Art" Series
June 14th
1 - 3pm
Part of the "Exploring Art" series, we will be painting an abstract (subject of your choosing) or follow along! Using as many or few colors as you choose. This is one of a couple painting opportunities in this summer series, don't miss out!

Pen & Ink - "Exploring Art" Series
June 21st
1 -3 pm
"Exploring Art" definitely describes this Series, where we colorfully go from mosaics and painting to the black on white with Pen & Ink drawing. Pen and Ink is perfect for detail and visual impact. Students will learn how to create a detailed, cohesive ink drawing that uses several techniques of pens.
Beach - Mixed Media - "Exploring Art" Series
July 5th
1 -3pm
BEACH TIME!! in the "Exploring Art" summer series.
We will be using several mediums to create a personal get-away to the Beach. Learn how to build up painting surface with gel medium, use real sea shells and sand to create a peaceful scene and add on a personal mantra or 3-dimensional pieces to really make it your own !!
(We will be using heat, glue guns, pallet knives and gel medium )
Mosaic - Mini - "Exploring Art" Series
July 12th
1 - 3pm
A favorite for the "Exploring Art" series ! Creating a mosaic!. Every student will choose their tiles of choice, layout the design and complete with grout. These are a size suitable for completion in a 2 hour the frame.
Pop Art - "Exploring Art" Series
July 19th
1 - 3pm
This "Exploring Art" series class provides an opportunity to create your own version of Andy Warhol's tomato soup cans! Using your own design you will create your own stencils to easily multiply your design and paint your original repetitions in your color scheme of choice!!

Jewelry - Bracelets - "Exploring Art" Series
July 26th

"Exploring Art" summer series jewelry class.
Create your own bracelet, choosing from hundreds of bead, metal finding, charm and tassel options! All participants will get instruction on every step of bracelet construction.
Pastel & H2O Color - "Exploring Art" Series
August 16th
1 -3pm
This class will be offered in this summers "Exploring Art" Series happening on Wednesdays!
Combining oil pastel with watercolor paints can produce some brilliantly colored, fun, original art. Students can choose their own subject or follow along with instruction.
Instruction and materials provided.
Minimum 4 - Maximum 8
Clay Time - "Exploring Art" Series
August 23rd
1 - 3pm
Time for "Exploring Art" to work with Clay! This lesson will allow the students to create a pinch pot creation, a mask or a slab box!
**Crossing fingers that the new/used kiln will be operational for this one!!
Embossing & Sculpture - "Exploring Art" Series
August 2nd
1- 3pm
Learn how to create a faux metal embossing and apply this in creating a sculpture!
Using design and assembly skills this one won't disappoint!
